Our Mission

  In 2006 YEC has some new projects that will be an addition to the solutions and services that YEC provide currently, and it will attract more customers from the different markets to buy those solutions.

  YEC is now focusing more on the system support and maintenance contracts and to provide IT solutions to enterprise companies as YEC has certified IT people who can support big networks and provide professional solutions.

  GSM switching solution is yet under development and is expected to complete in the mid of 2005.

  SMPP solutions can also be provided by YEC to allow GSM operators and other vendors to develop their own services.

 


Company Profile

  YEC company was established in the year 2000 as a small Telecom solution providers. Starting with the capital of 2,000,000 YR and seven employees, focusing only on the YEMEN market, looking for success and advance our company in the field of Telecom as a solution provider. Competing with strong, well established Telecom companies – YEC found its success with in a period of two years from the time of establishing the company.

  YEC grew rapidly and successfully as a Telecom solution provider in the Yemen market, because of its hard work, dedication, QoS and providing reliable solutions, giving our customers complete satisfaction and making them feel secure of their investment.

 Currently YEC not only provides Telecom solutions, but also provides Accounting & Hotel Management systems, Access Control systems (Magnetic cards or Finger print), Call Center systems and customer specific packages.

 YEC also manufactures its own designed Telecom equipments and designs PCBs. Other developments are under development process for our upcoming new projects.

  Previously YEC was focusing on YEMEN market only, but as it grew rapidly and yet growing successfully, it has now branches in Sudan, Ethiopia & Mauritania, where YEC provides its Telecom solutions and system support to their customers.

 

YEC Management

         YEC Hierarchy

A simple hierarchy of the YEC company, where are the Department managers report to the chairman of the company on regular intervals to update him on the progress and achievements of the company.

       A well organized management structure allows YEC to manage its day to day work in a very well mannered and procedural way.

       All the departments work flow is inter-related with each other and a team spirit exists with in the employees of all the departments.

YEC DIVISIONS:

 

Below mentioned are the responsibilities of the Divisions and their work flow:

 

*      Technical Department:

o       Designers & Developers: This division gets the customer requirements and specifications for the kind of solution that they are looking for, and then design the solution and present it to the customer, and upon his satisfaction and approval, the software development starts and goes through the software development life cycle process. This involves coding, testing and quality assurance.

o       Production: This division basically manufactures PCB boards upon the approval of the Designers from the other division of the Technical Department which is on the requirement from the Sales & Marketing Department. The manufactured goods are tested and transferred to the stock division.

*      IT Department:

o       System Support: This division supports the developed software by the Technical Department and the software related issues of the YEC customers. Also they report technical issues to the Technical Department in case if any technical involvement is required.

o       Maintenance: This division supports the Hardware related issues which are developed by the Technical Production division or those devices that are under the maintenance contract of the YEC company.

*      Finance Department:

o       Account Dept: This division conducts the day to day accounting and follows up the requirements and track of the other YEC departments.

o       Purchase Dept.: This division conducts the day to day purchase requests and follow ups the requirements of the other YEC departments.

*      Sales & Marketing Department:

o       Stock: Keeps the track of all the goods delivered to the stock division and that are going out of the stock division.

o       Resellers: This division employees on daily basis visit the customers of YEC to see if they have any kind of new requirements or complaints on the delivered products and to other customers who are looking for solutions that YEC provides.

o       Direct Sales: This division receives request directly from the customers for solutions and whole sellers.
